It follows Kathleen Kenyon, the archeologist discoverer of ancient Jericho, the biblical story of Rahab the female spy who played a part in the siege of Jericho and a contemporary couple, Lina, a seeming-Western girl looking for her heritage, and her Palestinian guide.
