Firstly, the imminent launch of the wonderful Griffith Review’s Edition 76, Acts of Reckoning edited by Ashley Hay with contributing Editor Teela Reid and contributing writer Merinda Dutton, in which I am publishing a poem, Kangaroo Island 1819 about a fierce old moment in that bewitching place’s history.

And secondly, I’m about to set off (May 2-7) for Take a Walk on the Wild Side, the yoga and writing retreat I am running with yoga teacher/therapist/Vedic chant magician, Sally Riddell at Alpana Station, Blinman in the Mid-North Flinders Ranges. We have the food; we have the equipment; we have the itinerary; we have the co-presenters. It’s the first teaching I will have done for yonks and, with the lovely group enrolled, I have great plans and proposals!
